Welcome to St.Cillian's National School
Established in 1934, St. Cillian's is a three teacher Catholic co-educational school under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin. It is a small intimate community school, where well-integrated classes provide a pleasant atmosphere conducive to learning. It is the aspiration of the school that children would receive a broad holistic education from an academic, social and spiritual perspective while engaging with the wider community in Bluebell. We have two mainstream class teachers along with a full-time Special Education Teacher. We also have a shared HSCL (Home School Community Liaison) teacher, a shared Support teacher and two SNAs (Special Needs Assistants). We welcome children in all classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.
We are conveniently located 200 metres from the Kylemore Luas Stop (Red Line). Dublin Bus also operates services to the Naas Road and the Long Mile Road including the Numbers 13, 18, 51x, 68, 68a, 69, 69x and 151. The bus stop is located approximately 100 metres from the school. We have pedestrian access from the Long Mile Road via Robinhood Road.
