As Principal of St Cillian’s National School, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school website. We hope that it will provide you with an insight into the warm, welcoming and vibrant school community that we are so proud of.
St Cillian’s N.S. is a small, family-centred primary school where every child is known, valued and supported. Our close-knit environment allows us to build strong relationships with our pupils and their families and to provide a caring and inclusive atmosphere in which children feel safe, happy and ready to learn.
We are committed to educating the whole child. Alongside providing high-quality teaching and learning, we aim to nurture each child’s social, emotional, physical and creative development. Throughout the school year, our pupils are given opportunities to take part in a wide range of activities, including sport, music, art, educational trips, cultural experiences and special school events. These experiences help our pupils to discover their interests, develop their talents and build confidence.
Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff place the needs and interests of our pupils at the heart of everything they do. We are also fortunate to have the support of our parents and guardians, our Board of Management and the wider community. This strong sense of partnership plays an important role in the life of our school.
We are extremely proud of our pupils and of the kindness, enthusiasm and individuality they bring to St Cillian’s each day. We look forward to continuing to provide a caring, supportive and stimulating learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Le gach dea-ghuí,
